Delair supplies high-pressure compressed air dryers to ISRO/DRDO for satellite and missile testing. The company is also best qualified for power projects, including PSUs such as NTPC’s thermal plants, and regularly provides DD series dryers to ONGC.
The company has a strong engineering base supported by state-of-the-art manufacturing infrastructure and a wide sales and service network.
Delair has many “firsts” to its credit. It manufactured the first 400-bar Compressed Air Dryer and was the first compressor manufacturer to receive ISO 9001:2008 certification in India.

Under the leadership of Mr Deepak Pahwa, the group has filed total 137 patent applications for 24 new technologies at the national and international levels, 82 of which have already been allowed/granted.
An alumnus of IIT-BHU, Mr Pahwa has been honoured with several awards, including the “Leadership Award 2013” by IACC, for his dynamic leadership. He was also awarded a “National Award 2011 in Research & Development” in (Medium Enterprise) by MSME, the “IIT-BHU Alumni Lifetime Achievement Award 2009-10”, and the “Entrepreneur Of The Year Award” in 1987 in the SME Entrepreneur category, to name just a few.
Mr Pahwa is a Fellow of ASHRAE (American Society of Heating, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Engineers) and serves on several technical committees of ASHRAE. A life member of ASHRAE and ISHRAE, he has been recognized and honoured by various industry associations for his contribution to enhancing India’s role in providing the best in next-class technologies from India to the world. He has also introduced many new technologies in the field of dehumidification, IAQ and many others in India since 1979. He has actively connected the European Air-conditioning Federation, REHVA, to the Indian industry.
Currently, he is the Chairman, Committee on Innovation, PHD Chamber and also serves on the Chamber’s Managing Committee. He has also served as the National President, Indo-American Chamber of Commerce. He has also served as the Convener, FICCI MSME Committee.
He advocates collaborative work for advancing knowledge and works with specialists in the field of Adsorption and engineering technologies in academia and industry experts, not only from India but all over the world, including Japan, Singapore, Korea, Turkey, Europe, and the USA.
With almost 50 years of experience in engineering and marketing HVAC&R, Airgineering, and environmental Control Technologies, his success mantra is “Innovation is Life.” He believes that ordinary people can achieve extraordinary work with the right amount of inspiration, encouragement, and knowledge.
He has institutionalised innovation within the organisation so that every employee learns to be an innovator and is rewarded for their contribution.

1988
Delair India, a joint venture between Delair B.V –Netherlands (Then Delair Droogtechniek Luchtbehandeling B which was founded in 1936 ) and Bry-Air India was formed. Bry -Air India (Now Bry-Air Asia) was established by a Joint venture between Bry-Air Inc –USA and Arctic India Sales-A Pahwa Enterprise, in 1982. February 19th, H.E. Mrs. Eegje M. Schoo (then Netherlands Ambassador to India), inaugurates the Delair India plant. Delair India launched its product line in India through Trade Shows and seminars.

July 1, Delair Netherlands merged with flair corporation USA.
Delair India became financially and technically independent company. -
1999
July, Delair India expanded the range of Refrigeration dryer by launching FDI Series.

Sep 8, Delair India completely acquired Puriflair was established when Flair Corporation acquired Purifair in 1997.
